What’s Scarier than your own Fears?

If I asked you this Halloween, what do you find most scary? You may think of frightful costumes and visions and fear what may be lurking in the dark. But what about your own darkness? That place of self-doubt or fear? That can be the scariest thing of all! It can certainly stop you in your tracks and kill your precious dreams.

The fears of “what if my ‘song’ will be left unsung?”, “Is this all there is in life?”, “what if I never feel the passion or joy others talk about”, “what if I can’t access the depth of emotions that makes life rich?”, “what if I don’t get what I want?”, “what if the best of life passes me by?” I shudder at the mere thought of these questions.

Let’s shine a light on these thoughts instead and erase the shadows they form.

If you actually saw that what you’re afraid of is just thoughts – wouldn’t it be easier to move forward? We can use the “what if” to conjure up negative expectations AND we can use the “what if” to create positive expectations and get our minds moving in a forward direction to birth actual results.

The best way to move through your fears or self-doubts about having the career and life you desire is to ASK the right questions. Without looking at what thoughts are false and which ones you want to invest in, you’re doomed to look back with a, “what if I had? what would’ve been possible? what if I’d taken my own desires seriously?”

So let’s banish wasteful thinking and access HIGHER thinking, the kind that lets you breathe, see clearly, make decisions and move forward. I don’t know about you, but indecision or lack of commitment (and flopping back and forth) is one of the most painful places to be.

On this Hallow’s Eve, I’m offering a frightfully great opportunity to coach with me and clear away the cobwebs in your own mind. Book a complimentary consultation at info@joiwork.com and discover your next steps to create a career and life you love.
