A Stylish Jaunt

Elaine and I

I love to combine errands with a bit of fun, especially when I’m having a hard time getting off my computer and could use a break. In fact, I would say it is critical for those with home offices to get out and about. We get moving (healthy for the body), we notice what’s going on in town (stimulating for the mind), and we may come upon unexpected surprises that inspire us (great for the spirit).

The other day I asked my friend Elaine for coffee, combining a chance to catch up and get an important errand done. To my joy, she offered to pick me up on her scooter. Everything feels like an adventure when on a scooter about town. .

As you can tell, I don’t have bikewear, but I can look stylish on a scooter!

Near the end of our trip and visit, we popped into a shoe store for a few minutes. Might as well shop and do my research when I can! Within moments, Elaine had her eyes on a lovely pair of red satin shoes, perfect for dancing as she found herself walking and twirling with them on. This is a woman who told me a year ago (before we began her styling) that she does not wear girly shoes. Well, I think we’ve got a convert! Here is the lovely pair from Freedman’s.
