When is the last time you really took time to look at your wardrobe and ask if it’s doing the job it’s meant to do? What job is that, you ask? – the job of creating a look and feel that is bringing out your best and making the most of your financial investment. It may sound like a cliche to say that a great outfit brings out your true inner beauty. The reality, as with many cliches, is that it is true.
Now for a little aside…how many people in your life do you think are terrific? Probably at least a good handful I expect. Terrific people are everywhere, of course, including yourself. I’ve had the fortune of meeting literally thousands of people, many who amaze me, inspire me, warm my heart, or simply make it a joy to know them whether it is briefly or long-term. Sometimes it’s their smile, their kindness, their success, their exuberance, their silliness, or just their way of being that makes me happy.
So the next question is, how many of these people make the most of their wardrobes? How many of them let let their inner beauty be expressed through what they wear? Too few in my opinion. And it’s time to change that. Let’s all wear our beauty on our sleeve(s).
